Understand Death Better Q&A session – North Sydney Community Centre.

The Understand Death Better Q&A session is coming to North Sydney Community Centre.

So many questions about death. At our last gathering we shared stories and answers that grew out of questions such as: How do I make my advance care directive effective if all my family live overseas? Is a will made when someone is only a week away from dying legal? I have never been involved with a death, how do I overcome my fear?

To book for the North Sydney Community Centre session, which will be held at 10am on September 1, 2023.

At each event I invite the audience to ask your own questions – whatever you like. If I can’t answer, I’ll get back to you. And as I’ve said before, no question is wrong or inappropriate. Each question helps everyone in the audience and leads to a really useful discussion.

Registration is not essential – but it will help us make sure there enough cups of tea for everyone.

Thank you to North Sydney Council for making this possible. We had this feedback from our last event at the Kirribilli Neighbourhood Centre, sponsored by North Sydney Council.

“It was lovely to meet you and be part of the workshop. I very much enjoyed watching you engage with the audience and the way you navigated conversations. From my perspective, it went very well”.

Thanks, Camelia

There are lots of articles on our website that can help you to understand death better. This one formed the basis of a talk with the “Lifting the Lid” community. And it has been very popular.

And here’s a very different story – also with ‘5’ in the headline. It shows how warmth and sharing of story can help unknot our grief.
