Promotion for Understanding Death at Campbelltown Library
Understanding Death at HJ Daley Library, Campbelltown, on Monday October 23, 5.30pm – 7pm.

Do you have burning questions about death or end of life care? Unsure about the choices you have for the care of your deceased body? Join us for a Q&A session like no other!

Margaret Rice is an experienced journalist, author, feature writer, keynote speaker and editor. She has written for The Sydney Morning Herald, and The Australian. She has specialised for many years in medical reportage, and at one time was editor of the general practitioner’s newspaper Medical Observer.

Margaret wrote the book A Good Death; a compassionate and practical guide to prepare for the end of life, published by Murdoch Books. She also has a website called Good Grief, which is a space to get ideas, find information, share stories, learn how to cope, etc.

“At these Q&A sessions I explore in a clear and compassionate way, the issues around preparing for death, supporting each other as we face our own death, and accompany those we love, the process of grieving and the choices we have to make to die with dignity. All questions are welcome!”

This event is free. But please register if you can, it helps us with the catering.
